LEVOLOR App

LEVOLOR’s Bluetooth® enabled app allows you to schedule your window coverings to adjust automatically on a timed schedule, when paired with the Premium 6-Channel Remote.

Our unique technology allows users to program a schedule on the app while they are within range of the window covering and remote, and it will still operate once they leave the home. However, the app can not be used to adjust the programmed schedule while away from the home. The device with the app must be within the range of the remote and window covering to change the schedule.

bluetooth Bluetooth technology is a short-range wireless connection between electronic devices. Users need to be close by or “within range” in order for the devices to connect and talk to one another. LEVOLOR defines “within range” as being in the same room.

How to Measure

Measure For Inside Mounting

Window Width:

  1. 1. Measure the inside of the window opening, not the glass.
  2. 2. Measure window width in 3 places. Record the shortest measurement and round down to the 1/8 inch.
  3. 3. Do not make any deductions, allowances or additions.

Measure For Inside Mounting

Window Height:

  1. 1. Measure the inside of the window opening, not the glass.
  2. 2. Measure window width in 3 places. Record the shortest measurement and round down to the nearest 1/8 inch.
  3. 3. Do not make any deductions, allowances or additions.

Measure For Inside Mounting

Window Diagonals:

  1. 1. Measure the inside of the window opening, not the glass.
  2. 2. Measure window diagonals by checking distance from corner to corner and marking the result.
  3. 3. Subtract the shorter number from the longer number, and if more than ½” difference, an Outside Mount is suggested.

Measure For Inside Mounting

Window Depth:

  1. 1. Measure from the front of any obstruction to the front edge of the window frame to determine depth.
  2. 2. If window has less than 1 ¼” of depth clearance, an Outside Mount is recommended.
  3. 3. Do not make any deductions, allowances or additions.

NOTE:

Depth clearance is the minimum window depth required for shutters to operate without interfering with window parts. Shutters can be mounted anywhere within a frame as necessary, as long as there is adequate window depth and flat surface area. Window obstructions include, but are not limited to: Window Cranks, Window Locks, Alarms and other items.

Measure For Inside Mounting

Window Trim:

If your window has molding/trim, measure the flat surface of the molding/trim, from the inside edge to the outer edge, while not including any decorative or raised sections of the trim, commonly found along the outside edge.

Standard Battery Pack

The standard power source provided with the LEVOLOR® motorized operating system. The battery pack is a tube of batteries that is connected to and is installed in the shutter panel to supply power to the shutter, allowing it to link and function with the app and remote control.

Note: Both premium and Basic remote options use 2 AAA Alkaline batteries. Lithium and rechargeable batteries are not recommended. Expected battery life is one year depending on usage.

Motorized shutters are battery powered, the battery tube uses 8 AA alkaline batteries (provided with initial order)

Motorization

  • Motorized tilt is available with or without tilt bar
  • Available with all four-sided frame types (excluding mounting strip)
  • One manual control button per motor located on back of panel
  • Manual control button is for pairing only and will NOT fully operate the shutter
  • A shutter panel with a divider rail will have two motors which allows for flexibility in programming and operation.
  • Limit two motors per panel
  • Motorized shutters panels with two divider rails can be motorized but the middle section will be linked to either the bottom section or the top section. Preference must be selected at time of order
  • Do not install LEVOLOR Motorized shutters where there is direct contact with moisture (ie: inside a shower)
  • Louver rotation speed or rotation alignment - there may be some variation in the speed at which the louvers rotate from section to section or panel to panel. Likewise, there may be some slight misalignment of the louvers in different panels or sections as they rotate to the desired position.
  • Multiple motorized panels available with patented panel connector option (see panel connector section for details)

Panel Connector

  • Motorize your shutters for less with our Patented Panel Connector, operate two shutter panels simultaneously through one motor, reducing cost
  • Can still be manually operated without damaging motor

Cleaning and Care

LEVOLOR® Shutters are virtually "maintenance free". However, surfaces may become dirty and require periodic upkeep.

Vacuuming - Attach a soft-bristled brush to the end of the hose. To avoid missing any dust, tilt the louvers so that you can also clean the rear.

Spot-Cleaning - Using a soft cloth, wash with mild soap and water. For difficult to remove dirt and stains, water-based household cleaners can be used.

DO NOT USE: Chlorine-based cleaners or other cleaners containing organic solvents could affect the surface appearance and durability of the product.
