Upgrade to LEVOLOR’s motorized options to tilt your shutter louvers open and close using a remote control or the LEVOLOR app.
(with Premium 6-Channel Remote only)
Note: LEVOLOR Premium 6-channel remote is required in order to use the LEVOLOR app; Basic 3-channel remote is not compatible with app.
LEVOLOR’s Bluetooth® enabled app allows you to schedule your window coverings to adjust automatically on a timed schedule, when paired with the Premium 6-Channel Remote.
Our unique technology allows users to program a schedule on the app while they are within range of the window covering and remote, and it will still operate once they leave the home. However, the app can not be used to adjust the programmed schedule while away from the home. The device with the app must be within the range of the remote and window covering to change the schedule.
Bluetooth technology is a short-range wireless connection between electronic devices. Users need to be close by or “within range” in order for the devices to connect and talk to one another. LEVOLOR defines “within range” as being in the same room.
Download the LEVOLOR App on your Apple and Android devices to walk through the pairing process. Use the App's scheduling function to program your window coverings to adjust automatically, while you're at home or away.
Copies of the LEVOLOR Remote Control Guide along with "How to Pair the Remote" videos are available to help walk you through the setup and operation of the 6-channel remote control.
The remote will now operate the shade when Group 1 is selected. Repeat steps 1-7 to add shade to groups 2-6 if desired.
"How to Pair the Remote" videos are available to help walk you through the setup and operation of the 3-channel remote control.
Note: The LEVOLOR 3-channel remote will NOT pair with the LEVOLOR app. TO use the app you must purchase the 6-channel remote control.

LEVOLOR Shutters are available in 2 1/2", 3 1/2" and 4 1/2" louver sizes. The 2 1/2" is the more traditional size while the larger 3 1/2" and 4 1/2" louver sizes are a more contemporary look and a greater view to the outside. Larger louvers will require more depth clearance in the window.
2 1/2" Louver
3 1/2" Louver
4 1/2" Louver
LEVOLOR® Shutters are offered in three tilt options. Tilt Bar, Gear Closure System and Motorization.
The Tilt Bar Option has a centered tilt bar located on the front of the shutters, giving them a traditional look.
The optional upgrade is the patented Gear Closure System. The hidden gear operating system provides an unobstructed view and modern look, while allowing for smooth, superior closure.
Motorization + App
Control light and privacy with a simple click. With LEVOLOR's Motorization option, you can open and close a single shutter or control multiple shutters simultaneously.
Decorative frames bring style and functionality to your windows. Inside mount frames attach directly to the inside of the window opening, while outside mount frames are mounted outside the window frame and are attached directly to the wall. Outside mount frames completely cover the window molding.
(Inside or outside mount)
A functional frame that may be used for inside mounts if window openings are square, or outside mounts directly on top of the molding or beside molding. The L frame can be used on an inside mount if you already have decorative molding that you do not wish to cover up.
Decorative frame that blends well with all types of molding. Excellent for slightly out of square windows because the extended leg covers any imperfections.
Decorative frame that is used for inside mounts that has rounded edges and modern style. Excellent for slightly out of square windows because the extended leg covers any imperfections.
Decorative frame that is used for inside mounts in openings with drywall returns and without molding.
Decor Trim Frame
The largest, most decorative frame that is used for inside mounts in openings with drywall returns and without molding.
A decorative frame that is used to cover existing trim. It is installed directly into the wall and is outside mount only.
French Door Cutouts
The French Door Cutout allows you to seamlesly coordinate your doors to your windows, giving your home a cohesive look.
By-pass track system allows shutter panels to slide from left to right.
3-1/2" By-Pass Valance
5" By-Pass Valance
Note: If diagonals are not the same, (less than 1⁄2 in. difference) and the window does not have a molding, a trim frame, décor trim frame, or bullnose frame are suggested to allow for easier installation. If diagonal measurement differs by more than 1⁄2 in., choose outside mount.
Note: We will add necessary adjustments to your window measurements so that shutter will mount directly around window. If you desire your shutter to be a specific width or height, order as exact outside mount finished size.
Special "MUST" Requirements:
Depth clearance is the minimum window depth required for shutters to operate without interfering with window parts.
Measure from the front of any obstruction to the front edge of the window frame to determine depth.
|Minimum Depth Clearance by Frame (inches)|
|Inside Mount (IM) - with frame or panel with front of window|
|Frame Type||2 1⁄2 in. Louver Tilt Bar, Gear
Closure System or Motorization
|3 1⁄2 in. Louver Tilt Bar, Gear
Closure System or Motorization
|4 1⁄2 in. Louver Tilt Bar, Gear
Closure System or Motorization
|Mounting Strip||2 1/8"||2 3/8"||2 7/8"|
|L Frame||2 1/8"||2 3/8"||3"|
|Z Frame||1 1/4"||1 5/8"||2 1/8"|

|Décor Trim Frame||1 1/8"||1 1/2"||2"|
|Outside Mount (OM)|
NOTE: If your window does not meet minimum depth for outside mount, then frame extensions are available. Each frame extension will increase clearance by 1⁄2 in. The Gear system has the same depth clearance as the Tilt Bar application.
Divider rails separate the top louvers from the bottom louvers. This allows the bottom half of shutters to be fully closed for privacy, while allowing the upper half to be open.
A divider rail is required for any shutter panel over 66-inches in height. Two divider rails are required for shutters over 90-inches in height. There is no extra charge for divider rails.
You can request the approximate height of the divider rail placement at time of order.
Simply provide the measurements from the bottom of shutter to the center of the divider rail location.
Note: If there are two divider rails along with motorized tilt, the mid-section of louvers will operate simultaneously with either the top section of louvers or the bottom section of louvers. Preferred configuration must be selected at time of order.
Note: The divider rail location may vary up or down by 1 1⁄2 in. from the height requested.
All shutters must be ordered the same height to achieve a uniform appearance and equal number of louvers. If the height measurements differ, apply one of the options below:
Note: Panel consistency is easier to attain with framed shutters, Height adjustments to achieve consistency are not recommended for mounting strip applications.
Outside mount - 4-sided frame on top or around the molding
Note: Shutter height may be ordered longer than molding to molding measurements. This allows the shutter to be moved up or down in order to center the cutout as needed.
|Maximum Square ft.||15 sq. ft||15 sq. ft||15 sq. ft|
|Minimum Cutout Height||17 3/4"||18 3/4"||19 3/4"|
Note: Additional details are available in the How to Install Instructions PDF (above)

LEVOLOR® Shutters are virtually "maintenance free". However, surfaces may become dirty and require periodic upkeep.
Vacuuming - Attach a soft-bristled brush to the end of the hose. To avoid missing any dust, tilt the louvers so that you can also clean the rear.
Spot-Cleaning - Using a soft cloth, wash with mild soap and water. For difficult to remove dirt and stains, water-based household cleaners can be used.
DO NOT USE: Chlorine-based cleaners or other cleaners containing organic solvents could affect the surface appearance and durability of the product.
